How Music and Color Provides Energy Healing in the Harmonic Egg

Sometimes when we talk about the Harmonic Egg, people don't understand how music and color provide energy healing to people and animals. So here is an explanation that will help explain how music works.

Harmonic Egg energy healing

What is Sound Healing?

Sound healing is the use of instruments or voice to release energetic blockages, which can induce a state of ease and harmony in the body. Sound can also help to shift frequencies from the low vibrations of guilt and fear to the higher vibrations of love and joy.

The human body is 75% water, and water is a great conductor for sound vibration. When vibrations travel through the body, they promote circulation, energy flow, and rejuvenation. The frequency of the sound synchronizes with the brainwaves and activates de-stress responses in the body.

The Harmonic Egg uses sound to help clients heal. Following are some of the instruments used to create the energy healing music used in the Harmonic Egg.

Piano

Helps to bring the nervous system into balance, and it also helps with worry and anger

Harp

Helps with stress relief, depression, high blood pressure, focus and balancing the chakra system

Violin

Helps with tumors, heart, lungs, thymus and bringing the crown chakra into balance

Flute

Helps with anger issues, anxiety, depression, gout, sciatica, pain and insomnia

Drums

Helps build the immune system and is effective for Parkinson’s and MS

Bells

Helps with high blood pressure, asthma, heart and lung problems, allergies, low vital energy, adrenal fatigue

How Does Colored Light Provide Energy Healing?

Many ancient cultures used colors to heal, and it is still being used today as a holistic or alternative treatment. Color can be used to bring balance and harmony back to the body and can heal the five functions of the human body: physical, metabolic, emotional, mental and spiritual.

Following are some of the primary colors we use in the Harmonic Egg, along with some of the benefits of each color.

Green

  • Increases immunity
  • Helps with digestion
  • Good for the heart and circulatory system

Purple

  • Helps with eye issues
  • Soothes mental and emotional stress
  • Helps with detoxification

Blue

  • Helps to lower blood pressure
  • Helps to reduce pain
  • Helps with headaches

Red

  • Helps with blood conditions
  • Helps with rheumatoid arthritis
  • Helps with confidence

Orange

  • Helps depression
  • Relieves muscle cramps and spasms
  • Stimulates the thyroid, stomach and liver

Yellow

  • Helps with skin problems
  • Stimulates lymphatics
  • Helps with diabetes

Pink

  • Helps with Alzheimer's
  • Stimulates the sex drive
  • Helps suppress the appetite

In today's fast-paced world, more people are seeking holistic healing approaches to support their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. From acupuncture and Reiki to craniosacral therapy and sound baths , there are countless wellness modalities designed to help the body relax, rebalance, and restore itself. Among these approaches, the Harmonic Egg® has captured attention because of its unique combination of sound, light, color, and intention. While many therapies focus on one aspect of wellness, the Harmonic Egg® offers an immersive experience that addresses the whole person. What is the Harmonic Egg®? The Harmonic Egg® is a resonant chamber designed to create an environment where sound frequencies, light, and color work together to support the body's natural ability to restore itself. Unlike hands-on therapies, clients simply relax in a comfortable reclined position inside the Egg surrounded by colored light and customized music. Each session is personalized based on the client's intention. Whether someone is seeking stress relief, emotional support, mental clarity, or support for a physical condition, the experience is tailored to meet them where they are on their wellness journey. Many clients of Realign Your Life Wellness Center describe the Harmonic Egg® as an opportunity to disconnect from external demands and reconnect with themselves. According to inventor Gail Lynn, the Harmonic Egg® "activates the body's natural ability to balance and restore itself." Unlike modalities that require physical manipulation or needle insertion, the Harmonic Egg® provides a completely non-invasive experience. Many clients appreciate that they can simply rest, relax, and receive. How Frequency, Sound and Light Work Together When it comes to the Harmonic Egg®, carefully selected music is paired with colored light to create an immersive atmosphere intended to support the client's intention. The session includes: Sound frequencies: Music has been composed specifically for the Harmonic Egg® to support Autonomic Nervous System regulation and energetic balance. Colored Light: Colors are selected based on the client's intention for the session. Resonance: The Egg's unique structure is designed to optimize the experience of sound within the chamber. Intention: Clients are encouraged to focus on an area of their life where they desire support, energetic healing or greater balance. One of the most significant differences between the Harmonic Egg® and many other therapies is that it combines multiple wellness elements simultaneously. Rather than experiencing sound, light, or frequencies independently, clients experience them together in a dedicated environment designed specifically for relaxation and restoration. Many people report entering a deeply relaxed state during their session. In addition, a series of sessions can bring the Autonomic Nervous System into balance. Other Wellness Therapies There are many wonderful wellness modalities available today, each offering its own unique approach. Understanding these differences can help you determine which therapies may best support your personal goals. Reiki Reiki is an energy healing practice in which a practitioner gently places their hands on or just above the body. The intention is to support the flow of energy and encourage relaxation and balance. Many people seek Reiki to: Reduce discomfort in the body Faster recovery from trauma Better sleep Reiki is practitioner-guided and involves energetic interaction between the practitioner and client. Acupuncture Acupuncture is a component of Traditional Chinese Medicine that involves the insertion of very thin needles into specific points on the body. Practitioners use acupuncture to support energetic balance according to traditional Chinese medicine principles. People commonly seek out acupuncture for: Reducing discomfort in the body Muscle tension Headaches Because it involves needles, some individuals who prefer non-invasive approaches may seek alternative modalities. Craniosacral Therapy Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on technique focused on the head, spine, and sacrum. Practitioners use light touch to encourage relaxation within the central nervous system. Clients often seek craniosacral therapy to support: Headaches Jaw pain Back and neck pain Sessions are typically quiet, calming experiences that involve direct physical contact. Red Light Therapy Red light therapy uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light directed toward the body. People may use red light therapy to support: Skin rejuvenation Recovery from exercise Joint inflammation Unlike the Harmonic Egg®, red light therapy focuses on one type of light exposure and does not include additional colors, sound or an immersive resonant environment. Emotion Code / Body Code The Emotion Code® and Body Code™ are holistic approaches developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson that focus on identifying and releasing trapped emotional energies and energetic imbalances. Practitioners are able to identify and release the trapped emotions, energetic imbalances and misalignments that contribute to a person's challenges. People often pursue Emotion Code or Body Code sessions to support: Emotional conditions Physical conditions or illnesses Emotion Code and Body Code sessions are practitioner-guided and focus on identifying specific energetic imbalances through a structured process. Sessions can be done in person or via Zoom. Sound Baths Sound baths involve listening to instruments such as crystal singing bowls, gongs, drums, and chimes to promote relaxation and stress relief. Sound wave frequencies from the instruments help promote relaxation and stress relief. Participants often report feeling: Calm and centered More present Deeply relaxed Sound baths share some similarities with the Harmonic Egg® because they utilize sound frequencies. However, the Harmonic Egg® expands upon this concept by incorporating personalized music, colored light within a dedicated resonant chamber. What Clients Commonly Experience with the Harmonic Egg®

Everyone has stress. But some people have so much stress that it completely throws their Autonomic Nervous System out of alignment. What that means is, they become stuck in Fight or Flight. Living in Fight or Flight is not how we are meant to live. Our bodies are meant to move between Fight or Flight and Homeostasis naturally. Unfortunately, it's not always easy to shift between the two when you've been stuck for so long. Here is what happens when the Sympathetic Nervous System (Fight or Flight) is activated: Your heart and respiratory rates increase Your digestion slows down Your immune system slows down Your pre-frontal cortex loses its ability to reason Your pupils dilate Your bronchioles dilate Your blood vessels dilate As you can see, your body is not functioning the way it is meant to when stuck in Fight or Flight. This is why it's difficult for people to heal. When so many systems of the body are affected by stress, the body is unable to function properly. And when the body is unable to function properly, it is also unable to heal. This is why getting the Autonomic Nervous System balanced is necessary for healing. If you want to balance your Autonomic Nervous System, consistent meditation will help. Eventually you'll begin to notice a change in the way you react to stressful situations. It can take time so you must be patient. Another way to balance your Autonomic Nervous System is with Harmonic Egg sessions. Sound and Light Therapy with the Harmonic Egg is the most effective way to balance your nervous system. A series of sessions is most effective at keeping your nervous system balanced. And when your nervous system is balanced, your body is able to heal energetically. For some, keeping the nervous system in balance is all they need to stay healthy. For others, getting the nervous system into balance is the first step. The next step is to determine what it is they want to focus on next. Healing is a process. But as long as you stay committed to your healing journey, you will be able to see results. Ultimately, this can lead to a better quality of life. To see what it feels like to shift out of Fight or Flight and into Homeostasis, book a Harmonic Egg session today! Jean Hanson is co-owner of Realign Your Life Wellness Center in Mesa, AZ. Frequency Coherence and Sound Healing Sound healing works on a simple yet powerful principle: everything in the body is vibration. Every cell, organ, and energy center has its own natural frequency. When these vibrations are balanced, the body is in harmony. But stress, trauma, and illness can create disharmony — like an instrument that has gone out of tune. Frequency coherence is the process of bringing these vibrations back into alignment. When the body resonates with coherent sound frequencies, it naturally shifts from chaos into order, from tension into flow. This is where deep healing can begin. The Science of Frequency Coherence Modern research shows that sound waves can influence the body in measurable ways: Resonance: Just as a tuning fork can make another fork vibrate, sound can stimulate the body’s tissues and systems back into balance. Entrainment: Rhythmic sounds guide the brain and nervous system into calm, restorative states. This promotes relaxation, lowers stress hormones, and allows the body to repair itself. Heart-Brain Coherence: When sound helps the nervous system relax, the heart and brain synchronize in a coherent rhythm. This state supports immune function, mental clarity, and emotional balance. The Energetics of Frequency Coherence Sound healing also works on the subtle energy system: Vibrational Harmony: Each chakra and meridian carries its own frequency. Sound acts like a tuning fork, helping restore the natural flow of energy. Clearing & Release: Coherent frequencies can dissolve stuck emotions and energetic blockages, allowing more freedom and lightness. Expanded Awareness: Certain tones and vibrations open the door to deeper meditation, heightened intuition, and a stronger sense of connection with self and Spirit. In Essence Frequency coherence brings the body, mind, and spirit back into alignment. Through sound, the body remembers how to return to its natural state of harmony. Whether understood scientifically or energetically, the result is the same: greater balance, deeper relaxation, and a powerful environment for healing. Colored Light Therapy Light is energy, and each color represents a different wavelength within the visible spectrum. When these wavelengths interact with the body, they can trigger measurable biological effects: Cellular Communication: Cells use light to communicate and regulate functions (biophotons). Introducing certain wavelengths may help cells restore order or optimize performance. Mitochondrial Activation: Light is absorbed by mitochondria (the cell’s energy centers). This boosts ATP production (cellular energy), speeds healing, reduces inflammation, and supports tissue repair. With energy healing, colors are associated with different frequencies that resonate with chakras and subtle energy fields: Red: Root chakra, circulation, blood conditions, Epstein Barr, asthma, endocrine system Orange: Sacral chakra, digestion, arthritis, bladder, depression, Multiple Sclerosis Yellow: Solar plexus chakra, arthritis, bones, skin, digestion, lymphatic system Green: Heart chakra, heart conditions, lungs, hormone balancing, autoimmune conditions Blue: Throat chakra, thyroid conditions, headaches, stress, anxiety, PTSD, pain Indigo/Violet: Third eye chakra and Crown chakras, eye and ear conditions, stress, ADHD, autism, pituitary gland, sleep The idea is that when the body or aura is “out of balance,” shining the corresponding color can restore harmony and coherence, much like tuning an instrument. In Practice Medical use: Red and near-infrared light therapy is FDA-approved for wound healing, pain reduction, and skin rejuvenation. Holistic practice: Chromotherapy is often paired with sound healing, meditation, or energy work to balance body, mind, and spirit. Emotional impact: Colors also affect mood — for instance, purple is calming, blue is cooling, and orange is uplifting. In short: Scientifically, different colors of light affect cells by penetrating to various depths, influencing cellular energy, reducing inflammation, regulating hormones, and supporting healing. Energetically, colors carry vibrations that align with chakras and subtle energy systems, helping restore balance emotionally and spiritually. Root of illness
By Jean Hanson October 22, 2025
It's common knowledge that stress causes most illness. Even Western medicine acknowledges that stress is at the root of most conditions today. The solution seems obvious - reduce your stress. But we all know that stress isn't going anywhere - we all have stress in our lives. There are many things you can do to help your body let go of the stress so it doesn't keep holding onto it. Exercise is a great way to let go of built up tension in the body. Meditation is a great way to calm the mind and let go of stressful thoughts. Finding ways to manage your stress is one thing. But getting to the root of what's causing the stress is another. Most people think stressful situations are what's at the root of our stress - but it's not. What's at the root of our stress are the emotions we feel in the situation. Negative emotions are the root of illness Here's an example. Many people feel a tremendous amount of overwhelm during the holiday season. They worry about everything from the food to having to spend money on gifts to trying to make sure everyone gets along. All this overwhelm and worry can lead to anxiety. And all these negative emotions can lead to illness. How? Because we do our best to put on a happy face so we can get through the holidays with the least amount of conflict possible. That means we unconsciously stuff those emotions. But guess what? Those emotions don't go away - they become energy blockages in our body, which will eventually cause some sort of problem. Here is an example of what can happen when a person continually represses their anxiety. That energy becomes stuck in the stomach area. Most people feel anxiety in their stomach - that's because our organs generate the emotions we feel. When anxiety becomes trapped, it can lead to imbalances in the stomach and stomach meridian, and this can lead to symptoms. Some of those symptoms could include stomach pain, acid reflux and other gastrointestinal issues. This is just one example of how our emotions can affect us physically. There are so many other ways negative emotions affect our health, so finding ways to release those negative emotions can do wonders for your health. If you're not sure where to begin, give me a call. I can explain a simple process I use to release trapped emotions for clients. Not only can we release trapped emotions, we can identify and release the imbalances caused by those trapped emotions. By working on releasing all this trapped energy, your body is in a better position to begin healing itself. Jean Hanson is co-owner of Realign Your Life Wellness Center in Mesa, AZ. The future is changing... are you ready?
By Jean Hanson April 1, 2025
In case you haven’t noticed, there is a lot going on in the world today. From political systems to financial and energy systems to healthcare - most major industries are either changing or finding themselves in trouble. That’s because it’s time to re-evaluate our values to make sure these industries line up with what it is the world wants and needs. It’s not easy to change how we do things. We get used to how things work, so we put up with bureaucracy so we don’t have to deal with learning something new. But more and more people are not willing to put up with it anymore. Most people want change, but don’t know how to make it happen. That doesn’t mean change won’t happen, because there will always be people who are willing to find a way to change the world. What can we as individuals do to prepare ourselves for the changes that are coming? First, be open to new ideas because that’s the only way to get through challenging situations. If there’s something you don’t agree with, is it because it goes against your values? Or is it because it’s a new idea? Sometimes we resist change if it means giving up control over a situation. That doesn’t mean the change is bad, but it can mean you’re not open to accepting a new idea. That’s not easy to admit for most people, but in this time of major change, becoming more accepting of other people’s ideas will help everyone deal with changes without becoming argumentative. Consider this - whenever you have the opportunity to dive into a topic that is of interest to you, take the time to look at all sides of the issue. For every issue, there are differing opinions. And for every issue, you must decide which side you are on based on how you feel about those differing opinions. And if it doesn’t happen to go your way, find a way to be ok with it so you can move on instead of dwelling on it. Everyone has opinions, but think about whether those opinions are based in truth or hearsay - because hearsay disrupts people’s ability to reason through a controversial topic. So instead of basing your opinions on what you see on TV or social media, base your opinions on your own research. That being said, it isn’t always easy to get to the truth of things, so you must also use your own discernment regarding the source of the information. If it’s coming from what you feel is a reputable source, then allow yourself to form an opinion - even if it’s different from what other people in your circle believe. Sometimes it’s important to share the information you’ve uncovered so other people become aware of the truth. When it comes to personal health, many people are becoming tired of the traditional medical system, which is based on treating most ailments with medication. That’s because most people realize that the medication is simply meant to alleviate the symptom. And what people really want is treatment for the root cause of their illness. That is why so many people are now turning to alternative treatments such as energy healing. There are many different types of energy healing available, so once again, you must be discerning when choosing the right one for you. That doesn’t mean you can’t try different modalities, it just means you are free to choose the one that resonates the most. It will take time for major change to happen. In the meantime, think about what you can do to take charge of your life. The one thing we have most control over is our own bodies. So when it comes to healthcare, take some time to consider what you may be able to do on your own before consulting a doctor. If you know stress is causing your issues, then there are many things you can do to alleviate stress. Meditation is known to help calm the nervous system, but it must be done consistently. Harmonic Egg sessions that focus on stress relief is one of the most effective ways to bring the nervous system into balance. From there, additional sessions for whatever condition is affecting your life is recommended. Healing naturally with sound and light is not only effective, it’s non-invasive. So instead of relying on your doctor for everything, try utilizing other options first. You may be surprised at how much better you feel when taking the natural approach. Make Time to Restore Balance to your Mind, Body and Soul
By Jean Hanson December 6, 2024
With stress out of control these days, focusing on self care has become more important than ever. Too many people are trying to power through the stress instead of making time for themselves. The result is poor health - both physical and emotional. It may not be easy to make the time, but you’ll never regret the way you feel when you devote time to your self care. Why do we have such a hard time giving ourselves enough time to take care of our physical and emotional wellbeing? For most of us it’s about time. When we don’t have enough time to get everything done, we run out of time for ourselves. Part of the problem is that we don’t make ourselves a priority. We allow everything else to monopolize our time. Every time we do that, it compounds the stress we already feel. And as we all know, stress causes most illnesses. If we really want to take care of our health, we must devote time to it. We can’t allow our busy lives to interfere with our ability to stay healthy. How much time you spend on this will depend on how much time you are willing to devote to taking control of your health. Not enough people think proactively about their physical and emotional health because of the way we’ve been conditioned. The food industry is less concerned with healthy ingredients and more concerned with taste. The more we like something, the more we’ll buy it. The problem is, most of our food has been processed and contains toxins and unhealthy ingredients and over time adversely affects our health. So until people make a conscious decision to change the way they eat, the problem will continue. Of course that’s easier said than done, so making incremental changes over time will increase your chance of success. In addition to food toxins, our bodies are adversely affected by environmental and other types of toxins. Over time these toxins become problematic for our liver. When your liver is overworked, it can’t properly do its job. But when your liver is working the way it’s meant to, you’re not going to have as many health problems. Body and mind health not only keeps us healthy, it keeps us in balance. In order to stay in balance we must focus on the amount of stress we allow into our lives. We allow too many people to put us into “fight or flight” because we don’t know how to say no. When we start taking control of our stress and practice self care, we begin to want more peace in our lives. This is where self care becomes important. When your nervous system is stuck in “fight or flight”, it can be difficult to get back to homeostasis. This is what self care does for the mind and body. But it needs to be a modality that energetically works on the nervous system. Having your nails done is not considered self care. However a massage is considered self care. What are some self care modalities to look into? Here are some that I recommend: Yoga is an excellent way to wind down at the end of the day because it helps to loosen up tight muscles. But yoga is most effective when combined with breathwork so I recommend learning from a teacher who explains how to breathe properly during each pose. Immerse yourself in the soothing frequencies of a sound bath. Instruments such as crystal bowls, flute, and chimes calm the nervous system and may help to bring you out of “fight or flight”. Sound and light therapy is another way to calm the body. The Harmonic Egg combines music and color to shift the body out of “fight or flight” and into homeostasis. It is an effective way to reduce stress, while experiencing soothing music and color. Now is the time to prioritize your health. By making a few small changes to your busy schedule, you will give yourself the gift of self care. When you care for your health in positive ways, your life will begin to improve. Jean Hanson is co-owner of Realign Your Life Wellness Center in Mesa, AZ. The Center offers sound and light therapy with the Harmonic Egg. Holding onto emotions can lead to ill health
By Jean Hanson September 27, 2024
We’ve all heard the expression “stuff your emotions”. And unfortunately, that is what most of us do - especially when it comes to negative emotions like anger, frustration and shame. So instead of finding a way to release the emotions, we tend to bury them deep inside. You may wonder why releasing emotions is so important. Isn’t it better to hide our emotions - especially negative emotions - rather than expressing negativity out into the world? Of course it’s never a good idea to direct your emotions at other people. Instead, try to find ways to deal with your emotions privately - scream into a pillow, hit a punching bag, vigorous exercise. Letting yourself express your emotions privately may seem odd, but allowing yourself to let it out is a good way to release tension as well. It will allow you to get over whatever it is you are feeling, faster. But when you keep holding onto those emotions, it becomes more and more difficult to let them go. You may end up ruminating over the situation and stir up even more negative emotions. Because most people don’t fully express their emotions, the energy of those emotions become stuck in the body. This is what is referred to as “emotional baggage”. We all have emotional baggage that we carry around with us. And the energy of those emotions can, over time, contribute to physical discomfort and dis-ease. Stress, as most people know, is the cause of most illnesses and diseases. But it all starts with emotions. Negative emotions that get stuck in the body energetically, need to be removed energetically. But most people don’t know where to begin. There is an energy healing modality called the Emotion Code that allows you to energetically remove trapped emotions. This is a simple process that anyone can do. But you must first identify each emotion before you can release it. There is a book called “The Emotion Code” by Dr. Bradley Nelson that explains the process. Another option for releasing trapped emotions is to work with an Emotion Code Practitioner. That way you will be able to identify when you experienced the emotion and where it is stuck in your body. Emotions can be difficult to fully express, so why not try these tips for a while to see if it makes a difference for you. You may notice that you don’t seem to hold onto anger or frustration for as long as you used to. Or you may notice that things that used to bother you no longer trigger you the way they used to . The more you can manage your negative emotions, the more calm you will begin to feel. To feel peace and calm in the midst of chaos is a better way to live. And if you can do that, you can lead a more positive life. Jean Hanson is co-owner of Realign Your Life Wellness Center, in Mesa. She is an Emotion Code Practitioner and author of Trust Your Higher Guidance: Align Your Life to Manifest the Joy and Success You Deserve. Stop triggers from ruining your day
By Jean Hanson August 29, 2024
I don’t know about you, but some days I just seem to get triggered by things that happen during the course of my day. Luckily for me, I’ve gotten so much better at dealing with my triggers, which means it doesn’t take me long to get over it. It’s not always been that way for me. In the past, I used to get angry and then ruminate over even the smallest of things. For example, when an issue would come up with my computer, I would fly off the handle and allow it to ruin my entire day. Now when a computer issue happens, I feel mildly irritated at first, but then I immediately shift into a calm state, reasoning through a solution. How did I do it? With daily meditation. Every morning I devoted the first 10 minutes of my day to my meditation practice. That’s all it took, but it didn’t happen right away. It took many months of daily commitment. The reason I chose early morning is because my mind hadn’t yet fully awakened, so it was easier to keep my mind clear before my day officially started. After a few months, it dawned on me one day that a subtle shift happened that I hadn’t even noticed - I didn’t get triggered when my computer decided to act up that day. When I thought about it, I realized that I had stayed calm so I could think rationally about how to solve the problem. After that I started paying more attention to the things that usually triggered me and confirmed that a shift had indeed taken place. Another way to keep myself from reacting so strongly to triggers is Harmonic Egg sessions. The Harmonic Egg helps to calm the nervous system, which means it becomes easier for us to deal with stressful situations. Clients who come for regular sessions often tell us that at some point, they come to the realization that they no longer react so strongly to triggers and that they are able to let go of the anger much faster. What would it feel like to live your life without constant triggers disrupting your day? This is what can happen with consistent meditation. It can also happen with consistent Harmonic Egg sessions. Isn’t it time to let go of the disruptions causing stress in your life?
